How often do you consider the power of your plate to influence your health? This session on nutrition will highlight how our food choices, including the use of supplements, impact our overall health, with a special focus on gut health and the principle that "You are what you eat." We'll explore delicious and healthy eating plans like the Mediterranean diet, MyPlate for Older Adults, and the MIND diet, and then open up a lively group discussion about personal successes, challenges in maintaining a healthy diet, and creative tips for enjoyable meals, even through illness or injury.

Meet your Facilitator:

Mike Batisto's path to becoming a Wellness and Nutrition Coach was shaped by his entrepreneurial experience and the inherent stress and anxiety of that lifestyle. Fortunately, he preserved his physical and mental health through consistent exercise, proper nutrition, and effective recovery methods. As a NASM Certified Wellness Coach with a Precision Nutrition PN1 Certification, Mike aims to facilitate transformative health and wellness improvements by tailoring nutrition, fitness, rest, and recovery plans to each individual's resources, constraints, schedules, and goals.
