About the discussion

Join us for an interactive discussion with our facilitator, Lisa David. In this 4 part series, we'll discuss everything about healthy aging: functional fitness, brain health, sleep, nutrition, and more!

In this 2nd session we will dive into an interactive discussion on how to keep your mind sharp:

  • Activities proven to help with brain activity
  • Foods or diets linked to improved brain health and cognitive function
  • Discussion on whether brain games are actually effective in enhancing cognitive activities
  • Discuss what other members have tried and experienced themselves

Meet your facilitator: Lisa Davis, MPH, is a passionate health educator and broadcaster with over 25 years of experience. She holds a Master's in Public Health and has dedicated her career to helping people achieve vibrant health.

Lisa is a captivating voice you might recognize from her syndicated radio show, It's Your Health, which aired on regional NPR stations. She also hosted and produced podcasts like Talk Healthy Today and Talk Exercise Today for The Healthy Group's renowned publications. She is currently the host and producer of the popular health podcast, Health Power.

Beyond radio, Lisa has brought her expertise to television screens. She created and hosted health shows like Health Power on KRUZ-TV and was a regular contributor to Carol Alt's national health program.
