About the discussion

In this 4 part series, we'll explore Cooking for Healthy Eating together. What are the foundations of healthy cooking? What are come recipes that can reduce the likelihood of some of the most common diseases/conditions as we age?

In Session 3 we will discuss:

  • Address common nutrition myths and misconceptions
  • What is the truth about the need for dietary supplements?
  • What is the role of fat in the diet?
  • How effective are trendy diets?
  • A cooking demonstration!

About the facilitator: Jeffrey Chang is a Licensed Nutritionist Dietitian, with over a decade of experience in the field. He honed his expertise at the prestigious University of Santo Tomas, one of the oldest universities in the Philippines, where he attained his professional qualifications. Complementing his nutritional background, Jeffrey holds a Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Global Culinary Academy, allowing him to fuse his passion for food with his commitment to health. Additionally, he is a dedicated fitness trainer and co-founder of JumpStart PH, a dynamic workout platform tailored to empower beginners in achieving a healthier lifestyle. Through his multifaceted approach, Jeffrey endeavors to inspire individuals to embrace holistic wellness and unlock their full potential.
